Hey, I just found this. I am a welding instructor for the U.S. Department of Labor and Murray State Universaty. I mainly teach young adults or missed placed workers a new skill to put them back in the work force. I also help already employed welders to prepare for AWS testing and brush up on fabricating skills such as print reading, safety, and new codes or changes.

I myself have put on welding schools for the company i use to work for. Teaching advanced welding skills to workers, using the Tig, mig/short arc/mig spray arc /stick processes. trying to get them ready to be able to pass welding test. I also attend the hobart school of welding in troy Ohio, and 2 years at shelton state community colledge worked as a welder for over 30 years in power plants, fab shops, refinery's chemical plants, and now for myself

Central New Jersey is a strange locale. When the snow is coming...it's located from Edison to Toms river ...when it hot, it is located in Asbury .. When the heavy thunder storms go thru it's hunterdon .... They never really define it by 1/3, north , central, and south!

I don't know where I really live, but Stevemp....if you pm me, we'll figure it out and I'd be glad to have you come by and show you two welders I have and you can give it a go with my LIMITED guidance. You might have even been here...we get a ton of outages :D

Make no mistake, there ain't no powder in this Puff ! And... I'm not really a crazy person but I play one in real life

I am a Welding Instructor at Southwestern Illinois College in Belleville IL. I teach the night classes as I have another full time job as a Welder/Fabricator/Supervisor. I am also an AWS Certified Weld Inspector and Certified Weld Educator. I don't claim to know everything but I'm never afraid to learn something new.
