Post by pitbull8151 » January 27th, 2012, 5:36 pm

I have looked everywhere and cant find the info to print. Does anyone know where I can get the coordinates to layout some pipe cuts?

That is a cool calculator. But I need the actual coordinates to lay it out on the pipe. I may go by the welding supply store and see if they have one.

I've got a Franklin pipefitters and welders handbook. Got it when I finished my apprenticeship in the union, great resource has all your layout instructions.

here ya go: you can enter your measurements and print out a template to trace onto the pipe. Ive used it with success - I did have to grind a bit bc of my "shake and bake" plasma cutting skills. https://www.blocklayer.com/pipe-notchingeng.aspx

DMW...awesome info, I’m sure it will come in handy for someone.

We welcome any and all posts but take a second to look at the dates on questions as this thread has been ‘dead’ for over 5 years.
