I would likely hole saw a couple of holes through the two skins and mount a socket inside the cc. then run wiring to the other side for another socket and make a hat section, or v-style wiring chase. an then another to a door switch and then to a 120v plug. Not a bunch of work, but it could be done cleanly even now. Project is on the back burner for now, but will be a nice feature if I get around to it. I did find all of teh parts required on Amazon however out of curiosity..
Thanks Dave, I will post up a few more pics once I get it installed. The material was out back in the bone yard exposed to the elements so it took a bit to get the oxidation off of it. I might hit it with a torch and throw linseed oil on it for the heck of it. Gives it a steampunk look!! I bought a gallon of linseed oil back when there was some posts about it here 6 months ago at Home Depot, and have been dying to use it. I did use some of it on my "Chicago Cutlery" wooded handle kitchen knives, I can't keep the wife and kids from washing them in the dishwasher and drying the handles out.
