Wood Moisture Content

Post by jennyferraynor » August 26th, 2022, 8:20 pm

Hi all,
I don't know if this is the right place to ask, need a little clarification.
If I have woodchip with a 30% moisture content, does that mean in 1 kg, 300g is water?

Yes. Moisture content in wood is weight of water to the dry weight of wood.

If it's tourist season, how come I can't shoot 'em?
