Couldn’t pass up this brisket

Post by tinspark » December 22nd, 2022, 7:51 pm

Went into a local store that had some bone in ribeye roasts on sale, and grabbed one of them, But the real find was a brisket that I found was reduced to under $2 a lb. Truth be told, I was drooling over the rib eyes, and the Mrs found it.
I couldn’t pass it up and made room in the freezer for this 19-1/2 lb bad boy!!
Goaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal!!

That's a nice find for sure...I would have probably bought every brisket they had in the store at that price.

Nothing wrong with that! No way I would fit it in my freezer, tho!

Congratulations!! Great find!

My wife went to the store the other day, so I asked her to check out the briskets and pork butts and buy a couple of each if the prices have come down, or were on sale. She forgot :hissy:

It's not a brisket, but I found two pork butts at the store today for 50% off. I bought both. :grillin:
