Who's up for a gathering or 2 for 2015?

Just putting it out there.....
I am planning on hosting several gatherings at HQ in St. James, MO this spring and summer. Wondering if anyone else would like to put one down on the calendar? No need to make a huge deal out of it if you want to have one local to you. all you need is a place to get together and decide if it is going to be an overnight deal or not.

I think some Saturday style gatherings would be great! meet at a park, campground, or someones farm/ yard.

The ones I will be hosting will be overnight gatherings. bring tents, trailers, or get motel rooms or camp primitive right there at HQ. Arrive Friday, Saturday, and leave Sunday.

I am also trying to locate a nice place by a river or lake in mid Missouri for an Official Gathering in mid September again this year.

send me details frank, we have an RV park/ ball field here, also has some fairly good fishing in the pit around it, not sure how many would want to show up, but worth a shot

I'd like to do the one in September. I'd also like to do one here in Florida. We have several newer members down here. You know we have lots of places to have it.

Hmmm. I might make it to Florida at some point. My wife wants to visit family down there and go to Disney maybe I could schedule that with RC's gathering so she could just pick me up when she's done with that crap. Or I may need a ride to the airport...

I will be back in St. Louis area visiting family around 2nd and 3rd week of August if you happen to set anything up Frank. I know St. James is about an hour from St. Louis.

You know Florida seems do able for us too. But not between June and September. The last time we were in in Orlando in August the entire 10 day weather was 92 degrees with 92% humidity. Even the water in the pool was hot. EVERY SINGLE DAY. Walk out of the hotel room door and your glasses fogged heavily.

I know this could mean trouble, but I was thinking of having a gathering in Florida when it is too cold for you guys to have much fun outside up north. But if you want to bring kids to go to Disney and such it may need to be at a time when school is out . Your thoughts?
