You're 100% right RC!

I can't believe I did this BUT.... I am such a strong advocate of " the no pics rule" I dug them out of the trash to prove it. If you can't be taken at your word, you can only be taken to the woodshed...( geez, just made that up)

Heated them Gizmo style.... 12oz can of beef broth, sealed in the pan and steam heated in the oven at 375 for 1 hour!
Kills the bark but they are super tender and moist and the flavor is unaffected.
