John, I ate one of the burgers also, I didn't use a bun because i didn't want to fill up on bread with that much food to try. I confirm what your boy said It was a great burger. I would have never thought about cooking my burgers on the smoker.

I'm not sure about the burgers that were cooked on Lou Anne but, the ones that were grilled on the fire pit were a combination of pork and beef, with Utter Madness (Dink's) eggs and (salt and black pepper on the pit). If you can't get a hold of Dink, Slabs beef rub is really good.
