thats a bummer that the wife cant make it.... but awesome that you can come.

as far as the location we are trying to get down there to take a look in person, word has it that there is a giant cabin, sleeps like 20 some. Not sure at this point but will do our best to find out later this week.

yes terry we would be glad to pick up what ever items you are wanting to cook. we can make sure that there are drums there. Mack will be there. We hope that Louanne will be there.... not sure on the wawg coffin yet. but we should have plenty to cook on for 3 days.

I hope a aron can make it.

so I have talked to forester and I think he said he could take care of the fire building and control of the fire pit.

Terry? would you like to be our or one of our pit monitors. ( We definatly are not asking you to cook everything.... Just to keep an eye on whom ever does want to do some cooking. )

How about dub , have you heard anything from them yet. and can someone either give me reeds number of pass a message to him to text me.

What happened to the tilt goose neck? That will haul LouAnn no problem. You could tow Mack. And there’s lots of room on the sides for coolers and firewood.

Please dont bombard Frank with questions about the gathering. Yes he will answer them and he is in the loop, its just that he already has so much going on he doesnt need anything else to deal with.

So the just of it all is that the cabins are the best. A Frames are good but not as nice as the cabins.

The Rv sites are fantastic. Everything near us is water and elec and some even have sewer onsite for the trailers and RV's

Basically all you need to do is call them up and tell them you are interested in the smokerbuilder event 19th thru the 22nd.

We have a great market nearby in Cuba Mo. I can pick up meat there if you all want smomething. The same place that stored the pigs for us last year.



Right now we have a main course set for the meals.

We will be cooking 2 lg briskets and would like to do like last fall and make several dishes of different items.
such as brisket chili......brisket strognaugh.......brisket nachos...... and so on... Please help me with the side ideas.

Keep in mind that I will bring the brisket and the pork, as well as many lbs of sausage seasoned and un seasoned. Chops a few slabs of ribs and various cuts.

We have the meat covered, but could sure use help with the side dishs.

Do you all need or want a sign up form?? We dont really need it for me as I can call the office and see how many have signed up. Its up to you all.

I'm excited about this new location, is there a kitchen facility? With a big sink and fridge and such?

Actually no there is not a kitchen, BUT

Each cabin has a frig and both cook trailers have a full size frig in them.

If you remember seeing the pic of the shelter house, they have told us that we can park the pits and the cook trailer near that shelter. So that means yes we have a prep area and wash up area.
