Ok is the "cooler" the smoker? Read something In several posts about putting it in the cooler for 45 min or so???

from what i can tell. you wrap it up in towels and put it in an actual cooler, like an coleman, igloo, yeti....to let it rest and keep it warm.

its hard to let the meat relax over in the corner after all the work to prep and cook it.
maybe do some smoked sausages for an appetizer while the meat is resting...
