Smoke Stack size and material

Post by Scott2182 » July 27th, 2022, 1:33 pm

I purchased the 250 open offset smoker plans, and I am currently in the process of building a smoker. Great plans by the way!! The plan calls for a 6"OD pipe x 34", with a 5 1/2" opening in the collector. My question is what would the ID and wall thickness be for this pipe? Also, what material is best to use?
I do have a pipe that is 6" ID x 34" it's 1/4" thick.

That's perfect!

If it's tourist season, how come I can't shoot 'em?

I just cut the collector hole to 6” and it’s drawing like a champ!
